Girl of Mystery in a Waiting Room
(Room to Dream -Beyond Life and Death)
Red curtains fold around her
The stripes crawl beneath her feet
Zig zag floor stretching, folding, breathing
She waits in the waiting room
A space that is nowhere or everywhere
She smiles
A flash against the red
Too bright
No one knows her name
No one asks
The stripes twist
They snake along the walls
They twist under the chairs
They coil around her ankles
She drifts among them
Time bends, folding into itself
Music hums in the air
Always there
A low, distant pulse
Notes twisting like smoke
She holds a cup of coffee
Steam rises
The liquid bends in the stripes
Dark, fluid, shifting
Fire walks with her
and fire walks with her
Backwards voices whisper
The giant, the dancing man, the silent mirrors
Things slide out of form in and out
The arms bend
They reach
Twist
Always moving
Never touching
The waiting room waits
Red drapes pulse like flesh
The stripes ripple beneath her
A mirror trembles
Her reflection cracks, white‑eyed
Her laughter drifts
Her breath moves the curtains
She is a girl of mystery
The mystery belongs to her
A voice says: “Wrong way”
Another: “Meanwhile”
She turns
She sees herself
Or someone like her
Or someone other
Her shadow splits
Fire walks with her
" Fire walk with me " (inner monologue )
The stripes convulse
The red walls fold
From the deepest shadow
The ultimate darkness rises
A beast of nothingness
Hunger without end
It swallows the sum of stripes
It swallows her trace
It swallows the waiting room
Consciousness
All in one
and one in all
(No one would like to listen to a story of a woman who feels unattractive . The girl in the waiting room is very attractive in a black skirt suit with hair perfectly done,90's style . She owes no one answers and is also troublesome . A girl of mystery the kind of girl that you can call a lynchian one )
